The Vancouver Canucks, through the Canucks Centre for BC Hockey, are dedicated to the grassroots hockey development of players throughout British Columbia and to strengthening the bond between the Vancouver Canucks and the 60,000 + minor hockey players in our province. Supporting grassroots hockey programs such as the Vancouver Canucks Hockey School will always be a priority for the hockey club.

The Okanagan Hockey School is proud to be partnered with the Vancouver Canucks on their Canucks Hockey School being held at Surrey Sport and Leisure beginning August 5, 2012. The school will offer something for players of all abilities aged 5-14 years old.

Okanagan Hockey School is celebrating a milestone as this summer marks the 50th anniversary of the hockey school in Penticton. This world-renowned school is a leader in working with young athletes, teaching and developing their core skills to help them reach their future goals.

The Canucks Hockey School will be a great opportunity to improve each player?s individual skills in a structured, supportive environment. This is accomplished by placing emphasis on individual skill development of the core fundamentals of the game of hockey along with a focus on the importance of fitness and character.
