Shooters and Scorers

The Shooters and Scorers program will teach each participant numerous shooting and scoring skills. This program is designed for players ages 13-17.

We highly recommend that this camp is taken in conjunction with another camp as a 2-week option for players who are serious about improving their game.

Requirements

Birth Years 1995 - 1999
Male players only

Program Highlights

Specific shot instruction including:
- Shooting Balance and positioning
- Hand-eye coordination
- Screens, tip-ins, deflections
- Shooting accuracy
- Goaltender anticipation
Advanced power skating (focused on shooting in stride)
Minimum 2.5 hours ice time per day
Off-ice program includes:
- Daily strength and conditioning
- Daily skills training:
  - Developing power
  - Accuracy
  - Quick release
