The International Development Tournament is more than just a tournament.
This unique program has been designed by our full time hockey staff, which combined have played over 50 years in the NHL. The program is designed to challenge dedicated elite players to further develop their hockey skills and knowledge through an extensive 2-week process. The program focuses on individual and team play with professionally coached ice sessions, competitive international tournament games, off-ice hockey specific workouts, off-ice skills work at the skill center, hockey related lectures and seminars.
Teams and players from several countries have attended the IDT including Canada, Russia, United States, Germany, Switzerland, Korea, China, Sweden, Finland, Great Britain, Mexico, Japan, and the United Arab Emirates.
The program is designed for rep level players as described by the birth years listed below.
2010 IDT TOURNAMENT DATES & ELIGIBILITY
IDT#1 July 4 - July 16, players born in 1993, 1994 and 1995.

IDT FORMAT
IDT SKILLS COMPETITION
This is an NHL-style competition that allows for players to compare how they rank against all players in the tournament. It also allows for players to see how they rank against players in there own age group. The following skills are tested:

INDIVIDUAL TACTICS
TEAMS SKILLS
OFF-ICE TRAINING
GOALTENDERS
APPLICATION FEE
The 2010 application fee for the 2-week International Development Tournament all inclusive is $1,950 for players and $2,250 for goaltenders.
