The Okanagan Valley

The Okanagan bask in more than 2,000 hours of sunshine a year. Award-winning wineries, premium golf courses and destination ski facilities are all within driving distance of urban amenities. Festivals, concerts, and Sporting events take place throughout the year, making the Okanagan a 4 season playground.

Surrounded by lush orchards and farmland, Lake Okanagan provides 110 kilometers of beaches, boating and unlimited fun on the water. World class golf courses ranging from desert terrain to hillside vineyards, providing a challenge for every level of golfer.

Traveling to and from the Okanagan is easy however you go. Kelowna's International Airport connects to most major North American cities including non-stop flights to Toronto and Seattle. Airport expansions are currently underway to accommodate passenger growth and future nonstop service to Europe.

By car, the Okanagan is situated on the north/south route Highway 97. Penticton lies just one hour from the US border. It’s about four hours west to Vancouver on the Pacific Coast over the Coquihalla Highway, and just six hours east on the Trans Canada to Calgary.
