It is with great pleasure Okanagan Hockey School presents the 3rd annual Calgary Flames-Okanagan Hockey School. Calgary, Alberta is one of 4 locations where Okanagan Hockey School operates summer schools. The other 3 schools are located in Kelowna and Penticton British Columbia.

The Calgary Flames-Okanagan Hockey School is a unique relationship between the Calgary Flames and Okanagan Hockey School. The Okanagan Hockey School provides over 46 years of instructional experience and personal, combined with the Calgary Flames providing players and coaches from the Calgary Hitmen, Calgary Flames and Calgary Flames Alumni resulting in top quality instruction from top quality players and coaches.

The flagship school located in Penticton, British Columbia has provided instruction to players from all Canadian Provinces and Territories, all U.S. States and over 25 Countries thus creating a truly International experience that goes well beyond hockey. We expect the Calgary school to develop into the same International experience.

The goal is and always has been to provide top quality hockey instruction in a supportive environment that allows for development and refinement of his or her hockey ability. This is accomplished by placing emphasis and refinement on the importance of individual skills, fitness and good character.

Calgary is recognized as one of the top cities in the world with attractions such as the Calgary Stampede, the Calgary Zoo, the Bow river and other attractions. Calgary sits on the edge of the foothills of the Canadian Rockies where Banff and Lake Louise lie to the West a short distance away. Drumheller’s world-renowned prehistoric dinosaur park is located East of the city in Canada’s badlands.
